Sydney is surrounded by 🏞️. Today I head to the Far North of Sydney to the broad Hawkesbury River that marks the city’s Northern border.
The Anglers Rest is a great old hotel in Brooklyn opposite the train station 🚉,. On beautiful 🤩 sunny day it was crowded with a good vibe. It’s a friendly hotel with good food.
Of course I’m going to eat steak 🥩- sorry Klaus I’m not ready to ‘eat zee bugs 🐜.’
There’s this cute coffee shop on the corner opposite appropriately called Brooklyn’s Corner..
There’s an even cuter building called The Riverboat Postman where The Riverboat Postman works. People live on the river & islands only accessible by boat.
To the left is where the ferry ⛴️ leaves.
There is a nice riverside walk to the Brooklyn boat ramp. You can learn about the history of Brooklyn from the displays.
